I am a woman !!!!!!

Strong feelings beget strong words. The power of words to change a mindset or the general notion to a proclaimed sin or belief is beyond doubt. It imparts the public a chance to evolve rather than clinging to prejudices. Everything you believe right may never be so if you think based on logic but still continues it as a routine. If someone raises voice, they get tattooed as the black sheep or morally poor. Regarding our honorable cabinet minister's quote on girls going out at night, I really felt pity for him. If a man of such dignity and knowledge can degrade himself with such a comment, why should we blame the common man if he mistreats a woman? Mr. Minister, Woman too have dreams. She too wants to roam in the night. She too want to hold hand of her father or brother or boyfriend or husband and walk through the streets, gazing and waving at the white moon shining high up in the sky. She too wants freedom to inhale the cool breeze of dark night and listen the crickets cry. Womanhood does not mean being confined to the four walls of her home, but the blending of inner beauty of soul and the boldness to face this devouring world.

Mirth of the moon

My dreams are mine alone, enriched by agony and nightmares
Engulfing and consuming my soul, the whole me.

His mind was blank while climbing the red-tiled stairs to reach the fifth floor balcony. Usually he took the lift but today feared it may take him there too soon. He could not make his pace any slower, but was almost similar to a tortoise; something he rarely did. His shoulders were drooped, head down. Henna's marriage is fixed. He felt as if the whole world has shrunken to that haunting thought only. Once he had made fun of her when she said 'you are my soulmate' telling she is so dreamy, but now he feels it like a thorn rubbed against his soul. She was indeed my soulmate.

Satya spotted her facing the ash-colored windowpanes, looking out into the lush greenery. He still could not believe she actually agreed to the marriage... Hearing the footstep behind, Henna turned around, looking straight into the pain-stricken eyes of Satya. Her eyes were glimmering; from excitement or tear, he couldn't distinguish.  She smiled at him, her usual innocent playful smile. 'Hey..' she uttered. Her voice was dense, low pitched than usual. Satya just nodded at her. They stood side by side gazing at the distant green trees moving in the air currents. No words, no movement. She took his left hand by her side with tight grip. Her slender fingers pressed against his skin like hot iron burning even the most inner arteries.

'When will I see you again?' She turned her face and asked.

Satya's inertial state was unbreakable. No reaction from his side. She couldn't see any change in his expression. But deep inside his heart, Tsunami-like emotions hit hard ruining everything on its way. 'My world is shattering and you want to know when you see me again...?' his conscience yelled. How can she be this cruel? She forgot everything so soon? Innumerable kisses and cuddles were just time pass for her? Is that it? I did not exhibit that much attachment, it is true, but still, I thought she knew how much I cared for her; how much I loved her. I was wrong, totally wrong. Wrong about everything.

Henna turned to Satya and without any warning, stood on her toes, raising her heel, took his face in her palm and pressed her lips on his. Though wonder stuck at first, he responded to her kiss with added aggression and love. He kept her safe inside his strong hands making her drown in his heartfelt kiss. For them, the whole world stood still then. Nothing stood a barrier for that kiss. No religion, no status, nothing. They were just two souls loving each other with passion.

A moment later her phone started ringing, 'So its gonna be for ever..' He remembered the first time she talked about Taylor Swift. She could talk nonstop about Swift and loved country songs. 'Love stories are usually boring. The mixture of usual cliches and sentimental tie ups baked together would not always turn the readers thumbs up unless they are rarest of the rare.' She used to say. She always wanted to be writer. That was her dream.  "Yea.... later... ok.... " Her talking over phone brought him back from memories. She ended the call and turned to me. 'I gotta go...'.. Satya simply stared at her and uttered 'OK..bye..'. Without another word he started the downward stairs, holding tight on the side rails. Reaching almost to the ground, he wiped his tears with the back of his palm. I really need a cigar, he wished.

Henna was still standing at the balcony watching Satya move down the stairs till he was out of sight. She already started that giddy feeling. Its working. After all, two hand full of sleeping pills would not betray her. The world she wished to live was crazy about the power, status and religion. Her parents threat was not that passive but they really meant it. The choice had to be hers; whether to stand with her love or live as her parents wished. This nasty world is trying to part her from her man, the one and only one she dearly loved. The reason her heart still beat was him, Satya. Nobody can take me away from you, Satya, she wanted to yell. She sat on the floor there. All she could remember was the first time she saw her Satya, near the playground. He was on phone with someone, laughing with his childish face. She was the happiest girl whenever she was with him. Even the mere thought of him made her smile. Now the whole world ends before her and the last image she ever wanted to see before her eyes closed was him, Satya.

I want to be a child again....

I stood at the end of the cliff
Watching the sun set into the sea.
It is getting darker,
My inner self reminded.

My way has come to an end,
The narrow sandy paths vanished,
Now its only the sea ahead.
The turbulent ravishing blue beauty.

Life on this earth turns short and sweet,
Makes sharp turns here and there,
Leaving you wonder what lies ahead,
Whether pit or plain.

I want to be a child again,
My mom's favorite kid,
I want to walk holding her hand,
With her voice echoing around me.

I want to run away from everything around me,
To a land where I can roam with my mom,
My pretty, charming, loving mom,
Where I can sleep on her lap,
Like a carefree child.

I don't know the meaning of life,
I don't know the worldly lies,
I don't know the evil around me,
All I know is just one thing,
I want to be a child again.

The lost song

Moving to a tall unknown tree
He hid under the canopy,
Leaving no trace behind,
Embracing the anonymity,
Looking out to meet his mate,
He starts the song of life.

He is heard by all.
From wild to gentle beings,
Whole jungle awaits for his voice,
The nightingale's voice.

Nightingale sang of the princess of Deutschland's castle,
The most beautiful girl ever born on earth,
Laura, the kindest girl ever born on earth.
She had hazel eyes which glowed on her smile.
The king's pretty daughter,
Her mother queen's most favorite,
The common man's deity goddess,
She was loved and cared by all...
She had everything.

Deep inside her soul, she felt lacking.
She wanted something,
Something she could not understand.
Some kind of unknown vacuum.
The songs she sang were sad.
She painted of a girl sitting at the tower top window,
Waiting for some strange guest.
She frequently dreamt of a young man,
A strange man with golden cuff on his right hand.
He had a scar on his left forehead.
She tried to find him.
She searched for him everywhere,
In the town, in the meadows, in the ballrooms,
But all in vain.

Seasons rolled by.
Laura's favorite autumn was gone,
Shattering winter grabbed the city.
Their enemy clan, she always heard with fear,
Flounced to attack the territory.
Her country fought with valor,
Soldiers showed their love to their country,
bracing death in the act.
The king led his troops bravely,
The queen wept for their country.

With pale face Laura watched the enemies marching,
Straight to her royal castle,
And in the next moment, she turned paler.
She looked closely, wishing she was wrong, But,
The man in the front,
The one who led the enemy clan,
He was the one in her dreams!!!!!

Selezk saw a beautiful girl standing,
Holding the pillar on the top balcony.
She was pale, may be with fear, he thought,
She had the most beautiful hair he ever saw,
She had the innocence of a little lamb,
She had the beauty of the goddess.
Could she be the heir?
He was not sure since she wore no jewellery,
No silk clothes, or any sort of luxury.

Their eyes met as he neared the castle.
Her gaze was so intense, that,
His rock heart got melted in no time.
He felt as if he knew her.
Had I met her before??
He did not remember,
But he was sure that he knew her,
May be from some previous births.
He felt like she was a part of him.
He felt like he got his lost soul back.
The feeling inside his heart,
That was something he never believed exist,
Love at first sight.

Laura was back in her senses.
The enemy clan soldiers were praising their ruler,
The young warrior king, Selezk.
He brought them such a prestigious win,
Their long term enemies down.

Slogans were shouted, horns of triumph blown,
The whole area was echoing with the noises.
Laura saw her father's defeated soldiers,
held captives, with heads down, near the entrance.
She searched for her father, but he was nowhere.
She could think what would have happened.
To protect his land, his people, his beloveds,
With fortitude, he gave his blood.
Tears gushed out of her closed eyes.
Her beloved father, he was no more.

Her man of dreams,
He made her country fall,
He was the reason for losing her father,
Her man of dreams,
The stranger with golden cuff and scar,
The one she loved without even seeing,
The one whose heart beat just for her,
The one she waited for in the tower top,
She can never have him.

She was torn in the tug of war,
War between the love for her father,
And the strange man of her dreams.
She cannot forget her father,
Nor can she forget her man,
She felt desperate and shaken.

Selezk was eager to meet the girl,
The girl he saw at the balcony.
He climbed the stairs of royal palace,
with his heart beating surprisingly faster.
He strode fast through the ballroom,
Passing the huge mirror along the wall,
His way was halted by a large wooden door,
Which opened with a creaking sound on his push.
What he saw in there, took his breath away.

His innocent goddess girl lying in the floor,
With a gold-plated knife struck,
Deep into her heart.
She was wriggling in pain.
He ran up to her, took her head in hands,
with tears running past his cheeks.
Please, dont die... he murmured in her ears.
She looked into his eyes,
A beautiful curve came on her lips,
Her alluring smile.
She uttered tremblingly,
My strange man of dreams,
My stranger with golden cuff......

Is it YOU??!!

Today's most sensational graphs shoots on the headlines such as 'Asiz weds lekshmi' or  'Shivkarthik building mosque for his villagers'.  These are still beyond the brain of a common man even in this 21st century.  India hailed as 'secular' is nowadays not quite sure of the meaning of this seven letter word.

Secularity is not something just to be boasted as a national tittle but should be seeded and grown in ones heart and mind.  Belief in God tends to be a healing herb for the soul and this is not a licence to curb or degrade another man's faith.  To accept another religion or belief equally as ours is not as hectic as it may seem.

Actually, I would not say any section is fanatic over their religion but in most cases the poison injected by the dirty gain-oriented politicians for their personal up-gradation would end up in creating a mad mob of zealots.  The common man who love his God and beliefs fall an easy prey for these cunning political officials, who knows where to poke.  Many a cases, religion tends to be used as shield to mask the Wrong.  Whom should raise their voice against this...? Ask your conscience.

All religions basically teach the same.  Whether its Bhagavad Gita, Quran, or Bible, they all speak of same global religion, Humanity, along with the need of truthfulness, love for fellow being, and righteous life for the healthy mental sustain.  Humanity basically relies on kindness to others and the compassion to be shown.  Which of these holy words insist to harm another ones faith or religion..??!! Which of these ask you to show your superiority over another ones belief...??!!

A person who know his religion and God would never make a fellow being suffer for having faith in a different God. He would know God is nothing but love, truth, and harmony.  The virtues are to be spread and not the religion.  Respect for doctrines of another religion only makes you a better man and never inferior to anybody.  This in fact makes a better self and better community.

To Remember and To Be Remembered.... Ormayundo Ee Mukham

Without any trace of a debut director, Anvar Sadiq craved this soft romantic comedy "Ormayundo Ee Mukham" straight onto audiences heart.  Diverting from the normal boring flow, he takes it to a higher level of depicting the beauty of love and making the viewer feel the meaning of true soul mates. Vineeth Sreenivasan and Namitha Pramod gave life for the inseparable Gautham and Nithya.  The film makes one feel soul mates are destined to be together whatever the situations are.  Gautham is characterized as a stressed out businessman who is very much in need of support and inspiration while Nithya is portrayed bold and beautiful.  Their accidental meeting gives a new freshness to each ones life.  Rohini, aju varghese, lakshmi, soumya sadanandan did gave excellent support. The romantic feel nurtured with Shaan Rehmans music takes the viewers to cloud nine.

A must see film for those who still believe in the magic of Love.

She looked out of her bedside window but found only darkness.Even crickets seemed to be silent. She turned on her side and pulled out the ivory handle of shelf drawer. It was already kept there, ready to be taken out.Beula held the shining knife against her pale face. The silver blade reflected her pale face and shining blonde....
Jo was still on his bed, snoozing alarm for the fourth time.Keeping his eyes fixed on ceiling,he tried to remember the previous days incidents.Beula's teary eyes created an unknown fear inside him. Sarah was too sensitive to bear beula's harsh words. She was left in aghast.Without uttering another single word, she left his apartment, yesterday. He tried to contact her many times but all he could hear was her answering machine prompting to leave a message. You could never imagine the agony i feel now, he yelled at himself. Thinking all these, he got up to get ready to find sarah. He locked his apartment and pushed himself into driving seat of his Armanda. Without a second thought, he drove to sarah's villa, the Lotus. He found miranda, but she had no idea where her roommate was. Jo was totally unaware of the whereabouts of sarah.Puzzled, he drove without even noticing the locations.
Beula and Jo were the most fantastic couples one could ever find.Friends from fifth grade onward, they found out themselves to be each other's true soul mate. They considered themselves to be inseparable by any force.Sarah was Jo were working in same firm. She was a very bold, talented girl in her late twenties. She expressed incomparable courage and determination. They were good friends, from the very first day itself. Ricky and Sarah were dating for past six months and Ricky met  Sarah's parents recently to discuss his proposal. Things were flowing smoothly, until Sarah fell unconscious at their workplace.Jo took her to nearby clinic. There he tried to contact Ricky, but all he could hear was a lady repeatedly informing of unknown coverage area. Jo was too tensed and he did not even remember to inform Beula. After a long period of tense and anxiety, he was given her medical report, which clearly stated a malignant growth inside her brain, in chronic stage, with maximum life span of one week.He stared at the paper pieces, unable to believe. Doctor informed her the situation. She was dumb throughout their journey back.Jo too couldn't utter a word. She kept staring through glass pane. Jo had no idea what she was thinking right then nor how to console her. To his surprise, Sarah was too bold to face the situation. Sarah was sure of her destiny but she didn't wanted others sorrow and sympathy. She made Jo promise her not to reveal anything to others and Jo kept his word. Sarah started avoiding Ricky in all means and was spending more time with Jo.This made Beula lost her reins of her mind.
Armanda came to a halt at Beula' s residence. He found himself staring to huge teak door. Ringing the brass colored bell twice, he stood leaning to the white round pillar at the corner.Jo had no idea what to tell her.He heard the creaking sound behind. With blank mind, stretched open on face, he slowly turned to face her. He couldn't believe the sight he saw before his eyes.At the door, stood Sarah, with a pale smile on her face. Behind her, Jo saw Beula, with tears in eyes. Sarah smiled at the couple and walked along the narrow road.A girl who loved to be loved... who loved to dream...who loved to live.....Maple leaves shed down, paved way for her....May her soul rest in peace....
